The International Online Conference “Digital Education 2024” is organized by the Center for Educational Technologies Western Balkans in collaboration with partners for the fifth consecutive year.

We continue the tradition of gathering with the desire to exchange knowledge and experiences, to learn from examples of best practices, and to discover the most effective ways of connecting education and modern technologies.

Valentina Bošković Marković

Valentina Bošković Marković earned her doctorate in Sociolinguistics from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade. She began her professional career in 2010 and is currently an assistant professor and lecturer in the Anglistics program at Singidunum University in Belgrade. She is actively involved in projects and research in sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, applied linguistics, academic writing, and language in education. Valentina has published numerous scientific papers, a monograph on gender-sensitive language, and a textbook on academic skills.

Position: Stealing from the Poor to Give to the Rich: Challenges of Using Generative Artificial Intelligence in Education in Low-Resource Languages

Vanja holds a PhD in Philosophy and works as a Research Associate at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade, as well as a collaborator with the Center for the Promotion of Science and the Center for Bioethical Studies. She was a researcher at the University of Turin and a visiting lecturer at the University of Rijeka. Her research interests include the philosophy of artificial intelligence, general methodology of science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language.
