Benjamin holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Tuzla, Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation, where he is currently pursuing his doctoral studies. He has completed additional training in Montessori pedagogy, sensory integration therapy, and psychomotor re-education. Benjamin has gained professional experience as an inclusion specialist, special education teacher, and inclusion consultant in private preschool institutions. He is currently employed as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Tuzla.

She has gained significant experience as a mentor in a nationally important program aimed at supporting the development of digital competences among practitioners in preschool institutions. Through authorship and participation as a partner in several Erasmus+ (KA1, KA2) projects, she has gained valuable insights into preschool systems across European countries.
She is one of the responsible authors and co-authors of the handbook “Learning Adventures Beyond the Walls of Kindergartens and Schools”, which presents the experiences of the Preschool Institution “Včielka” in developing digital competences among children and adults.
Andrijana has extensive experience in presenting best practice examples at conferences, professional gatherings, and advisory meetings at the local, regional, and international levels. In the field of education, her interests are directed — in addition to ICT — toward the development of transition models.
She is particularly proud of her work on piloting the Learning Passport platform, where, through the use of various digital tools and in collaboration with a team of preschool teachers and nurse-educators, she developed internal training modules and promoted horizontal learning within her institution.

Duša is the Principal of the Computer Grammar School in Belgrade, and a teacher of computer science subjects at both the Mathematical Grammar School and the Computer Grammar School in Belgrade. Ivana holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and is a PhD candidate in Inclusive Education at the Institute of Pedagogy, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She works as an Expert Associate for Education and Coordination of Educational Assistants at the Idnina Special Elementary School with Resource Centre and serves as the President and Project Manager at the Autism Institute – Skopje.
She is an autism specialist and researcher with more than 12 years of practical experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, as well as in sensory integration therapy. Ivana actively participates in Erasmus+ projects (IEC-ADE, Autism_PCP, Autism Friendly Spaces, ITSS-LAII, LEBEL) as a teacher, trainer, and researcher. Since 2017, she has led the development of several educational interventions. She contributes to the AI Platform of the Faculty of Philosophy – an initiative that integrates artificial intelligence into teaching, learning, and research and supports an AI Platform for Gender Studies. Also, she contributes in developing AI agents and learning bots to operationalize RESI (Gender Equality and Social Inclusion) principles for policy analysis, implementation and evaluation, and to deliver AI-supported trainings for gender-sensitive research. She coordinates projects that use AI to counter gender-related misinformation and anti-gender narratives by developing chatbots that detect and respond to disinformation, as part of the AI Against Gender Equality Misinformation initiative and the wider AI & Gender Equality Platform. She also takes part in applied RESI workshops and policy-engagement activities that introduce AI tools to local stakeholders, for example in capacity-building events under the “Together for Gender Equality” project. Her ongoing work combines applied research, platform development, and training to scale AI-supported pedagogy and evidence-based gender-inclusive policy tools across higher education and public institutions.

Mirza is the Head of the Department of Physiology and Chair of the Division of Physiology and Immunology at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine (MEF), where he also leads the Office for E-Learning.
He completed his professional training as a recipient of a two-year Fogarty Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (1995–1998) at The Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in Baltimore and UCLA in Los Angeles. He has maintained a long-term scientific collaboration with JHU, co-authoring research papers published in leading international journals, with a special focus on NHE3 exchanger regulation. He was also the principal investigator of the U.S. research project FIRCA (2001–2004) funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Mirza served as the editor of the Croatian translation of the 14th edition of Guyton & Hall’s Textbook of Medical Physiology and, this year, its pocket edition. He is the author of numerous educational video lectures on cardiac electrophysiology and developed an interactive simulation program for learning about membrane potential, which is now used in physiology courses at several medical faculties across the region.
Over the past 25 years, his scientific and pedagogical work has focused on the development of e-learning and innovative teaching methods in higher education. He completed CARNet’s E-Learning Academy (E-learning Management Program) and the E-Mentor Program, and co-authored the University of Zagreb E-Learning Development Strategy (2007). His elective course was named the Best E-Course at the University in 2012. He has led numerous workshops and training sessions on the application of e-learning and innovative teaching approaches at Croatian universities.

Sonja holds a specialization in Mathematical Sciences and works as a pedagogical advisor and mathematics teacher at the Nikola Tesla School of Electrical Engineering in Niš. She views her teaching role as guiding students into the world of mathematics — but in diverse, often nonstandard and innovative ways.
In recent years, she has been exploring the use of artificial intelligence through various models tailored for teachers (as a Magic School AI Ambassador) and for students. She is one of the founders of the Niš Mathematics NGO – NiMat, and through the popularization of mathematics and related sciences — particularly by organizing numerous “Mathematics in May” festivals — she and her colleagues have helped many children stop seeing mathematics as something intimidating.
With more than 20 years of experience using educational software in teaching, especially GeoGebra, she has contributed to redefining mathematical standards for secondary education and to integrating mathematical educational applets into regular classroom practice. She is the author of numerous papers published in national and international journals and is recognized as a speaker at scientific and professional conferences both in Serbia and abroad.
As a Scientix Ambassador, she has contributed to the popularization of STEM and STEAM education, working with other teachers and empowering them to view their roles differently and act in accordance with the needs and trends of the 21st century.

Stela Durutović is the Education Programme Manager at the British Council. She has many years of experience in implementing international education projects, particularly in strengthening the competencies of school principals, teachers, and students in the areas of critical thinking, digital literacy, and programming.
She has gained significant experience through collaboration with regional and international educational institutions. In recent years, she has participated as a plenary speaker at the annual conference of the English Language Teachers’ Association (ELTA), as well as at the National Teachers’ Summit of Serbia.
Stela regularly attends the annual World Education Forum in London, dedicated to sharing best practices and innovative approaches to improving teaching and addressing global challenges in the education sector.
She also contributed to the development of a collection of lesson plans and school projects that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and the use of the micro:bit within the Schools for the 21st Century programme, funded by the UK Government with the support of the Ministry of Education.
