Open data in Education online conference

We are happy to invite all teachers from secondary school to apply to take part in first Open Data in Education, online conference that will be organised on 2 and 3 March 2019. First deadline for school application is 28 February, second deadline is 15 March 2019.

This conference is being organised as part of the Open Data in Education project.

Open Education in Serbia project is implemented by EdTech Center in the Western Balkans and Belgrade University Computing Center and supported by project “Open data – open opportunities”, implemented United Nations Development Programme and Office for information technologies and Electronic Governance with support from World Bank and UK Good Governance Fund. Programme is also supported by company Oracle

Project will provide support to teachers of computer science to introduce concept of Open Data to students from Secondary Schools in republic of Serbia. Project will provide training, resources and support to teachers to present to students what is open data, why this kind of data is important and how it can be used to purposefully to generate new ideas and solutions and also help students to understand the possibilities offered by the choice of profession in the field of IT.
