I THE AIM OF THE COMPETITION
The competition aims to enhance the knowledge of high school students in the Republic of Serbia through the creation of infographics that represent the results of open data processing.
II ORGANIZATION OF THE COMPETITION
The competition is organized by the Center for Educational Technologies Western Balkans as part of the activities of the “Open Education in Serbia” project, supported by the “Open Data – Open Opportunities” project implemented in the Republic of Serbia by the United Nations Development Programme and the Office for Information Technologies and Electronic Administration, with support from the World Bank and the United Kingdom Good Governance Fund. The competition is also supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and Oracle Corporation.

Each team consists of 2 students from the same school and a teacher or expert associate as the team mentor. One student cannot be part of multiple teams, while a mentor may lead multiple teams.

Each team of students with a mentor can submit only one infographic.
IV EVALUATION OF INFOGRAPHICS
Infographics submitted for the competition are evaluated by commission members without information about which competitive team created them (if the infographic contains author information, it will be excluded before being sent to the commission member for evaluation). The infographics are then provided to each commission member, who independently evaluates each infographic. The total score for each infographic from all commission members determines its overall evaluation score, forming the ranking list. The ranking list, without displaying the number of points, is publicly announced.
All infographics submitted for the competition are evaluated by a commission composed of 3 members representing the following institutions:
– Center for Educational Technologies Western Balkans and Computing Center of the University of Belgrade,
– Ministry of Education, Science, and Technological Development,
– UNDP Serbia,
– Coaching team that worked with schools on the project.
The commission evaluates and assigns points to each infographic according to the following criteria:
– Clarity and effectiveness of the infographic’s message (for the target audience) (up to 30 points)
– Infographic design (up to 30 points)
– Effectiveness of applying the results of open data processing as an argument supporting the infographic’s message (up to 20 points)
