Željka Požgaj holds a master’s degree in Early and Preschool Education and works as a preschool teacher-advisor. She has many years of practical experience in various professional roles. In her work, she fosters a culture of reflection, inquiry, and development, constantly re-examining and improving the educational process while actively implementing new pedagogical insights and tools, including digital technologies. As a licensed county-level disseminator for EU topics, she continuously participates in national and international projects (Erasmus+, eTwinning) as an author, trainer, and collaborator. Her main professional interests include digital literacy, interactive learning, project-based approaches, and the development of educators’ professional competencies. She regularly takes part in national and international professional and scientific conferences, where she presents examples of good practice and research in the field of early and preschool education. She also publishes professional and scientific papers on topics such as children’s and educators’ digital literacy, project-based learning, civic education, children’s rights, professional development, and the quality of educational practice.
