Filiz Mumcu
Filiz holds bachelor’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science Education, as well as an MSc and a PhD in Computer Education and Instructional Technology (CEIT). With nearly two decades of experience at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (as a system analyst and education coordinator), she transitioned to academia in 2017 as a faculty member in the CEIT Department at Manisa Celal Bayar University. She was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2022. Between September 2022 and August 2023, she visited Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz as a visiting scholar, conducting her postdoctoral project on integrating computational thinking into STEM education. Then, she worked as a senior researcher at JKU Linz from August 2023 to September 2025. She currently holds a post-doctoral researcher position in Digitalization in Early Childhood Education at the University of Graz. Her research interests include digital education and digitalization in education.
